02/14/2009 - Madison, WI (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Marcus Landry scored 17 points and pulled down seven rebounds as the Wisconsin Badgers outlasted the 24th-ranked Buckeyes of Ohio State, 55-50, at the Kohl Center.
It was the fourth straight win for the Badgers (16-9, 7-6 Big Ten) and their second in a row versus the Buckeyes.
Helping Wisconsin with nine points a piece were Joe Krabbenhoft and Jon Leuer.
Ohio State (17-6, 7-5) was led by Evan Turner's 23 points and 11 from William Buford.
The opening half was not pretty. The Badgers were 1-of-10 from behind the arc and Ohio State made 1-of-3 long-distance attempts. The Buckeyes committed nine turnovers with Wisconsin turning the ball over five times.
Despite shooting 32-percent from the field, while the Buckeyes hit 10-of-19 shots, Wisconsin took a 24-23 lead at the half.
At the beginning of the second half, Wisconsin moved out to a 28-23 lead with 17:55 remaining. The Buckeyes were able to tie the game at 30 with 16:24 to play.
Ohio State was able to keep a 39-37 lead with 12:12 left on the clock. A Tim Jarmusz three-point basket gave the home team a 44-39 advantage at the nine- minute mark.
An Evan Turner trey tied the game, 45-45, with 6:45 to play. But, Krabbenhoft nailed a three-point bucket to give Wisconsin the lead back, 50-48, with 2:05 to go.
Krabbenhoft, Jason Bohannon and Trevon Hughes hit free-throws down the stretch to enable the Badgers to upend Ohio State, 55-50.

Ohio State travels to Northwestern on Wednesday and the Badgers will be at Indiana on Thursday...Ohio State leads the series 79-63. Wisconsin was led in rebounding by Krabbenhoft with eight. Ohio State's B.J. Mullens grabbed seven boards to go with his seven points. The Badgers outrebounded the Buckeyes 32-22 and committed just 10 turnovers to Ohio State's 19.

Since coming over from the 76ers, Webber has averaged 13.1 PPG and 7.3 RPG and the Pistons are 11-4. Even though the defending champion Heat are currently on the playoff making cusp, they are the Eastern Conference team that is getting the most action to win it all (9-1). The fact that Shaquille O’Neal is back in the starting lineup after missing 39 games probably has something to do with this. No doubt, Shaq makes a difference when in the lineup as their winning six out of their last seven would indicate.
